Settling in

Just getting used to the rhythms of being back in Ireland and, most especially, of being on holiday.  Late at rising, late lunches, an afternoon cappuccino or mocha, late visits to the pubs.  We went out at 9 the other night; we are usually headed home by then.  We like this change.

This afternoon we'll travel to the neighboring town of Castlebar to take care of some business, then avail ourselves of the "Cappuccino Session" at bridge st., a very cool little pub/coffeehouse where we'll enjoy the tight harmonies of the Garvey Brothers.  It'll be a nice warmup for a weekend of fine music at the Westport Folk & Bluegrass festival.
