The front yard

I could bore you endlessly with pictures of the landscapes outside our cottage.  The sky and atmospherics are constantly changing.  But my skills as a photographer, although certainly adequate, are not up to the challenge of giving you a sense of the subtle changes that our eyes can see.  Some of the most breathtaking sights are of the mix of cloud, mist, shadow, and sky.  Too complex for me to successfully catch in a photo.  And, of course, it's virtually impossible for me to give you an accurate sense of the physical scale of these scenes.  So I'll just grab the easy scenes - sunny and blue skies.  Still not too bad, huh?  :)
