My hopes are high. :)

Vice-President Joe Biden will be visiting Westport and Co Mayo within the next few weeks and I have written to him, via the White House email system, with the humble request that I be allowed to join him and the Irish Prime Minister (Taoiseach) Enda Kenny when they play Carne Golf Club.  I have relayed to him that it is critical that I meet the Taoiseach so I can apply for asylum if Donald Trump is elected President.  I made him aware that we have voted for him twice and that we even canvassed for him and the President in 2008 & 2012.  I'm feeling quite certain he'll soon be in touch.  I think he's pointing at me, don't you...?
