A lazy day

We slept in late this morning, not getting out of bed with any intent until about 10:30.  Then breakfast and a leisurely walk around town until lunch (2:30).  Caught a little bit of cabin fever and decided to drive down to Clifden town, wending our way through the Connemara region and the Twelve Bens(mountains).  Of course, we kept in mind the weather advisory to make sure to stay hydrated in this severe heat spell.  We believe the temperature may have crested in the high 70s.  Refreshing change, huh?  We do, however, wish that we had brought a few short sleeve shirts and shorts.  Since our first visit in 2007, I have only packed long pants (including corduroys) and light to medium weight sweaters - certainly not needed so far on this trip.  Candee invested in a pair of sandals today and I bought a golfshirt at Carne yesterday.  More purchases may become necessary.

Sorry Lionel.  They don't sell any branded materials, tee-shirts, or hats.  :(
