Farewell to An Cloigeann

We are sad to say goodbye to our homebase in Ireland, but our two weeks in a self-catering cottage have come to a close. The region of Connemara has been an amazing place to visit. The landscape, dramatic in the extreme, never looks the same. It changes every hour, every day, depending on the clouds, the sun, the time of day or night. It would be hard to imagine tiring of this stark and evolving beauty. We ended our stay as we began, with a fine dinner at Oliver's Pub, followed by hearty breakfast at Walsh's. Now off to Bunratty, near Shannon Airport, to say a sad farewell to the Zedeks. Enjoy the pictures of Cleggan Bay.
