"High Stool Weather"

We visited the Cliffs of Moher yesterday - what extraordinary beauty! As has been the case, we arrived in "high stool" weather - you know, you find a high stool at a pub and stay til the weather clears. Another colloquialism we were happy to acquire. Luckily the weather cleared long enough for us to see down and far out to the sea. It's the Atlantic; surprisingly, tropical Vero would be happy to have water so clear and blue-green. I've included the sign for my father-in-law, Bill Hunter. When he visited, there were no fences and people would get blown over the cliffs to their deaths - we met a woman today who witnessed that very thing about ten years ago.
